It doesn’t matter how small or big an organisation is, a cybersecurity strategy is essential. There are many reasons for this, including the growing number and severity cyber-attacks, increasing importance and value data, regulatory requirements on data governance and increasing remote working and BYOD, and global tensions about cybersecurity.
This session will feature an expert on cybersecurity strategy in the contexts of emerging digital threats. We will hear from him about cyberstalking, hacktivism and fraud, as well as attacks on critical infrastructure.

Histories
ISACA has been serving our professional community for over 50 years. In 1969, a small group of people recognized the need for a central source of information and guidance in electronic data processing audit. ISACA currently serves 145,000 professionals from 180 countries. They have a variety of roles in information security, governance, and assurance.

ISACA History
SACA was founded in 1967 by a small group who had similar jobs and were responsible for auditing computer systems. This was critical to their operations. The EDP Auditors Association was formed in 1969 by this group. The association established an education foundation in 1976 to carry out large-scale research to increase the knowledge and value of IT governance and control. The Information Systems Audit and Control Association(r) was formerly known as ISACA. Our acronym now reflects the wide range of IT governance professionals that we serve.
The diversity of today’s ISACA constituency, which now numbers more than 165,000 people worldwide, is what makes it unique. These professionals are located in more than 180 countries, and hold a variety IT-related positions in the fields of IS/IT audit and risk management, security, and govern.
